A promising future lies ahead, and our cooperation is bound for success. On January 29th, Ms. Ye Guanqun, President of WIE International, and Mr. Zou Shangjun, Director of WIE International, were invited to visit the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) Macau, marking a mutual pursuit of collaboration between a prestigious university and a professional institution. Mr. Li Zhiheng, Director of Admissions at USJ, Ms. Shi Baona, Director of International Affairs, and Ms. Huo Qiyin, Member of the International Affairs Office, attended the exchange meeting.

Kicking off the meeting, Director Li Zhiheng introduced USJ’s historical evolution, educational philosophy, disciplinary layout and development vision in detail, helping the WIE International team gain a comprehensive understanding of the university’s profound cultural heritage. Subsequently, Ms. Ye Guanqun briefly presented WIE International’s core businesses, industry experience and key cooperation intentions, expressing sincere expectations for in-depth multi-field cooperation and resource sharing with USJ.

As a Macao SAR Government-recognized private Catholic university, USJ boasts unique strengths in cross-cultural education. Inheriting the educational spirit of the 1594-founded College of Saint Paul (now the Ruins of St. Paul’s), it adheres to the motto "Scientia et Virtus" (Knowledge and Virtue), nurturing students with academic excellence and moral integrity. With diverse faculties covering traditional and cutting-edge disciplines, USJ leverages Macao’s Sino-Portuguese advantages to promote cross-cultural dialogue and connect China with Portuguese-speaking countries, attracting global students.

WIE International serves as a bridge connecting high-quality educational resources with demands. With years of industry experience, it has mature operation models in admissions promotion, project implementation and resource integration, and a thorough grasp of international education trends. It can accurately meet USJ’s needs in international/domestic student recruitment, summer/winter camp organization and industry-university-research cooperation, helping more people recognize USJ’s charm.

The two parties’ strengths complement each other perfectly to achieve a "1+1>2" synergistic effect. WIE International will support USJ in expanding recruitment influence and implementing projects, while USJ will provide academic and cultural resources. They will also jointly develop an AI-driven international education platform and expand cross-cultural education boundaries, supporting Macao’s development as an international education exchange platform.

Looking ahead, the two parties will take this exchange as a starting point to refine cooperation plans, make USJ’s resources benefit more students, and inject new impetus into international education exchanges, Sino-Portuguese cultural integration and international talent cultivation. USJ inherits cultural heritage, WIE builds bridges – a mutual pursuit for a boundlessly promising future!
